Milica Delević (PhD, University of Kent, Canterbury) is a Director of Governance and Political Affairs at EBRD. Previously she has been a Member of Parliament in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, a post to which she was elected after serving as Director of the European Integration Office of the Republic of Serbia (2008-2012) and as Director of the European Integration Office of Serbia and Montenegro (2003-2004). In 2007, she was appointed Assistant Foreign Minister and Director General of the Directorate General for the European Union at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia. Ms. Delević served as the Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and Montenegro, and was an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade. She worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade (1992-1993), and at the Central European University in Budapest (1995-1996). Ms. Delević holds a master’s degree from the Central European University, Department of European Studies and International Relations.
Milica Delevic is the Director for Governance and Political Affairs at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Prior to joining the Bank, Milica worked as the Director of the European Integration Office of the Serbian Government, Assistant Foreign Minister and chaired the Committee for European Integration in the Parliament of the Republic of Serbia. In addition to BiEPAG, Milica is a member of the European Council on Foreign Relations and an alumna of the Munich Young Leaders Programme of the Munich Security Conference of the Korber Foundation.
She has also lectured on foreign policy and European integration at the University of Belgrade in Serbia and was Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy of the Serbia and Montenegro Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She holds a BA from the University of Belgrade, a MA from the Central European University and a PhD from the University of Kent, Canterbury. During her studies, she was selected by the UK FCO as a Chevening Scholar.
