Panel “Belgrade, Pristina and the West – Accelerating History?” – November 15, 2019, Belgrade

The European Fund for the BalkansFaculty of Political Sciences and the Balkans in Europe Policy Advisory Group (BiEPAG) are organizing the panel “Belgrade, Pristina and the West – Accelerating History?” on Friday, November 15 at the Centre for American Studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade, Serbia.

The panel will focus on the key events that have preceded and could follow in the process of resolving the Kosovo-Serbia relations. What will be the impact of changing actors in the process – the new Kosovo government and the new EU mediator in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue? What will be the impact of drastically changed circumstances – halting the EU enlargement and a strong US presence? Are the ideas of borders change and land-swap still alive? What are the attitudes of citizens regarding future solutions? These are some of the questions to be addressed by distinguished panelists from the region, EU and the USA.
