In the first panel, Marko Kzemic (University of Graz), Srđan Majstorović (European Policy Centre) and Natasha Wunsch (ETH Zürich) will discuss how the EU and its Member States can strike a balance between effective engagement and detrimental politicisation in the enlargement process, specifically asking in what ways the EU can improve the credibility of its policies towards South-Eastern Europe. This panel will be moderated by Wouter Zweers (the Clingendael Institute).

The second panel, comprising Adnan Cerimagic (European Stability Initiative), Danijel Tadić (Foundation Max van der Stoel), and Tena Prelec (London School of Economics), discusses regional cooperation and good neighbourly relations. Specifically, the negotiations between Serbia and Kosovo on land swapping in the context of good neighbourly relations and stability on a regional level will be addressed.
