Milena Stefanović has been a Program Manager with the European Fund for the Balkans since 2017. Her professional background is diverse and it includes experience from academia, and private and public sectors. As a PhD candidate, she was as an assistant at the Faculty of Drama Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade, teaching human resources management and leadership, strategic management, cultural diplomacy, and financial management. Her research focuses on the issues of public sector management and evaluation, organizational behavior and leadership, institutional memory. Before joining EFB, Milena worked for one of the largest private corporations in the region, Delta Holding, with its International Relations Department, dealing with public affairs and lobbying.
While she was based in Brussels, Belgium, she was trainee at the European Parliament - in the Foreign Affairs Committee, researcher at Human Rights Watch and journalist/producer at the South East TV Exchanges. She has B.A. in Philosophy, from the Faculty of Philosophy, Belgrade, holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration, from SDA Bocconi, Milan, Italy and a PhD in Management in Culture and Media from the University of Arts, Belgrade. Speaks English and Italian, and basic French.
