Dejan Jović (PhD, London School of Economics) is a full-time professor of international relations at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Zagreb. He completed his undergraduate studies in Zagreb (1990), master’s level studies in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and Manchester,England (1994), and PhD studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science (1999). Between 2010 and 2014 Jović was the main political advisor to the President of Croatia Ivo Josipović. Jović has been a Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence, and a lecturer at the Scottish University of Stirling.
Since 2015 he is Guest Professor at the University of Belgrade. He is the author of “Yugoslavia: A State that withered away” and editor of “Slobodan Milosevic: The Rise to Power” and “Theories of International Relations: Realism”.
