Tena Prelec


Tena Prelec (PhD Candidate at Sussex University, School of Law, Politics and Sociology) is a Research Associate at LSEE-Research on South Eastern Europe, European Institute, London School of Economics and Political Science. Her primary field of expertise includes politics and political economy of South East European countries, with recent works looking at the impact of non-transparent foreign investments, links between economic transition and inequality, and an award-winning study on the changing political views of the Serbian diaspora. She holds master’s degrees from the University College London (Central and South-East European Studies), Birkbeck – University of London (Law), and the University of Sussex (Social Research Methods). Tena has acted as an expert and consultant for a number of international institutions, including Freedom House, British Council, UK Parliament and the Scottish Parliament.
